Reworld Waste is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee safe and efficient plant operations on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule in Fort Myers, FL. You will monitor boilers and power generation, lead a diverse team, and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental permits.

The role requires 5+ years in power or resource recovery plant ops, hands-on boiler experience, and an ASME QRO license. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a strong DEI commitment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• Engineering Degree desirable; hands-on boiler/electrical training required.
• Must obtain & maintain ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license.
• Knowledge of steam power stations, instrumentation and control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, training and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety and environmental compliance aligned with Reworld Values.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Keep plant within environmental limits and permits.
• Respond to emergencies or injuries.
• Direct and complete shift, daily, weekly and monthly checks.
• Approve equipment removal from service and issue safety permits.
• Troubleshoot plant operations and coordinate maintenance.
• Train and manage a motivated, cross-trained workforce.
