Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee safe and efficient plant operations during assigned shifts, monitoring boilers, turbine and steam plant, and directing a diverse on-site team in line with permits and safety rules.

You will train staff, troubleshoot operational issues, coordinate maintenance, and ensure environmental limits are met while performing shift, daily, weekly and monthly checks. 12-hour rotating shifts apply.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• Hands-on with high-pressure boilers and electrical generation; technical training required.
• Must obtain ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license.
• Knowledge of steam power plant operation and control systems.
• Strong communication, leadership and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Keep plant within environmental limits and permits.
• Emergency response to injuries or accidents.
• Direct shift, daily, weekly and monthly checks.
• Approve removal of equipment from service and issue safety permits.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate maintenance.
• Train and manage a capable, cross-trained workforce.
