Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC seeks a Shift Supervisor to safely and efficiently operate the facility during assigned shifts, monitoring boilers, turbine and steam plant. You will oversee personnel, adhere to safety rules, and coordinate emergency responses as needed.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires 5+ years in power/resource recovery plant operations, plus hands-on boiler and electrical experience. Competitive benefits and a rotating 12-hour shift await.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• Engineering degree desirable; hands-on boiler and electrical generation experience required.
• Must obtain & maintain ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license.
• Detailed knowledge of steam generating power stations and control systems.
• Ability to originate and monitor plant procedures and technical instructions.
• Well-developed skills in troubleshooting equipment and systems, training personnel and interpreting logic diagrams.
• Good communication skills, strong leadership skills, and problem solving/decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel at the facility.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain plant within environmental limits and permits.
• Respond to emergencies or injuries and coordinate responses.
• Direct completion of shift, daily, weekly and monthly checks.
• Approve removal of equipment from service for maintenance; ensure clearance and permits.
• Troubleshoot plant issues and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Train and manage a workforce that is versatile, cross-trained and technically capable.
