Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the facility during assigned shifts, including boilers, turbine, and steam plant. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will guide a cross-trained team, ensure compliance with environmental permits, and respond to emergencies.

Required are 5+ years in power or resource recovery plant operations, HS diploma or GED, and an ASME QRO provisional/site-specific license.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• Engineering degree desirable, hands-on boiler and electrical generation experience required.
• Must obtain & maintain an ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license.
• Knowledge of steam generating power stations and instrument & control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, training, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the facility during assigned shift.
• Monitor boilers, turbine and steam plant; perform plant tours.
• Coordinate emergencies or unusual operations and direct staff as needed.
• Approve maintenance requests; ensure equipment is cleared and tagged.
• Troubleshoot plant operational issues and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Train and lead a workforce that is skilled, cross-trained, and motivated.
