Job summary

Reworld, a leader in sustainable waste-to-energy solutions, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee boiler, turbine, and steam plant operations. You will manage safety-first, cross-trained staff, and ensure reliable power generation on a rotating 12-hour schedule.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will monitor equipment, enforce environmental permits, coordinate maintenance, and train personnel while championing safety and efficiency across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3+ years supervising power generation or resource recovery operations.
• Hands-on leadership with boilers, turbines, and steam systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and plant docs.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Capable of safe action during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient operation of boilers, turbines, and steam plant during assigned shift.
• Lead, train, and supervise a cross-trained operations team.
• Monitor environmental limits, permits, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and respond to emergencies.
• Prepare and review shift reports and logs.
