Job summary

Dow's Emulsions/Polymers production facility in Knoxville, TN has an opening for an Operations Performance Engineer. You will support environmental health & safety excellence, reliability, and efficiency to deliver value across the plant.

As a key technical leader, you will work with Operations, Maintenance, and EH&S to optimize performance, investigate issues, and implement effective actions while ensuring safe, compliant production of quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required by January 2027.
• Chemical or mechanical engineering preferred; military equivalency considered.
• US work eligibility; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations to optimize plant performance and reliability.
• Apply MET and use process automation to improve efficiency and cost.
• Diagnose asset utilization losses and document root causes.
• Lead troubleshooting and drive corrective and preventative actions.
• Maintain daily KPI/trends and respond to plant emergencies.
• Provide leadership in Raw Material Efficiency and plant integration.
