Job summary

Dow's Emulsions/Polymers production facility in Knoxville, TN, seeks an Operations Performance Engineer to drive EH&S excellence, reliability, and cost efficiency. You will work across Operations, Maintenance, EH&S, and other functions to optimize plant performance and deliver high-quality products safely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required by January 2027 (chemical/mechanical preferred).
• Military experience at E5 or equivalent may substitute for a degree.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations team to apply problem-solving and technical expertise.
• Ensure MET understanding and use of process automation to optimize performance.
• Lead root-cause diagnosis of asset utilization losses and provide corrective actions.
• Maintain daily KPI reviews and respond to plant issues and emergencies.
• Provide leadership during unplanned events and drive optimization of raw material efficiency.
