Job summary

Dow’s Emulsions/Polymers plant in Knoxville, TN, seeks an Operations Performance Engineer to drive EH&S excellence, reliability, and cost efficiency. You’ll partner with Operations, Maintenance and EH&S to optimize plant performance and implement learning from data and field observations.

You will apply MET principles, lead root-cause analyses, and ensure compliance with permits while supporting on-call rotations and daily KPI reviews.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering by January 2027 (chemical/mechanical preferred).
• U.S. work authorization is required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations to improve safety, reliability and efficiency.
• Monitor KPI trends and investigate deviations with SMEs and MET.
• Lead troubleshooting and drive corrective actions during events.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance.
