Job summary

Dow’s Emulsions/Polymers facility in Knoxville, TN seeks an Operations Performance Engineer to drive EH&S excellence, reliability, and cost efficiency across the plant. The role spans technical and leadership duties, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, EH&S and other functions.

You will analyze data, apply MET, and orchestrate actions to optimize production while ensuring safe operations and permit compliance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering by January 2027; Chemical or Mechanical preferred.
• Military experience at U.S. E5 or Canadian PO2/Sergeant considered in lieu of degree.
• US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Work with operations to implement MET and optimize plant performance.
• Diagnose asset utilization losses and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain daily KPI/trends and review logs for effective operation.
• Provide leadership during unplanned events and support on-call rotation.
• Support Raw Material Efficiency improvements including yield and waste control.
• Ensure compliance with operating permits and site integration.
