Job summary

Ross Incineration Services is hiring for a hands-on Receiving and Incineration position in Ohio. The role involves handling hazardous materials, operating forklifts and front-end loaders, and working outdoors in a plant environment with safety training provided.

Starting wage is $23.00/hour with a $1.25/hour night shift premium and weekend differentials. A $1,500 signing bonus and opportunities for annual raises and advancement are offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Ability to pass a basic reading/math aptitude assessment.
Must be fluent in English with the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and handling instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be clean shaved to wear respirators.
Must be able to write efficiently and effectively to document work-related activities.
Must be able to work in a team environment with effective communication.

Responsibilities

Perform duties in Receiving and Incineration processes.
Handle hazardous materials via labor and equipment operation (forklift, tow motor).
Work outdoors in plant with noise and dust exposure.
Complete safety, procedures, and equipment training as required.
Assist with cleanup and maintenance of incinerator and scrubber during shutdown.
Operate off-road equipment (front-end loader, rubber-tired loaders, tow motors).
Wear PPE as required by safety policies.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures in all duties.
