Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the Thermomechanical Treatment Facility in Florida. You will guide safety, operational excellence, and cost-effective performance while managing multiple shift supervisors and technicians.

This role reports to the Facility Manager and requires deep experience in plant operations and leadership. Responsibilities include implementing KPI-driven improvements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving a culture of safety and continuous learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred; power/chemical plant experience valuable.
• 10+ years of plant operations supervisory/management experience or equivalent military exp.
• Experience in high-hazard operations and safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational guidance for safe, cost-efficient plant operation.
• Lead safety, environmental compliance, and KPI-driven performance.
• Develop resource plans and oversee succession and coaching of supervisors and technicians.
• Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma/Lean methodologies.
• Communicate department objectives and align with corporate strategy.
