Job summary

Reworld, based in Avon Lake, OH, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Avon Lake Material Processing Facility. You will oversee wastewater treatment, solid waste processing, and shredding, driving profitability and safety compliance.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will set expectations, train staff, coordinate shipments, maintain preventive maintenance, and ensure audit readiness. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience supervising and leading high performing teams.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
• Background in wastewater treatment, laboratory analysis, regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and promote an elite workplace quality, performance, appearance, and effectiveness.
• Set clear expectations, lead, coordinate, train, and direct plant employees on initiatives from Corporate.
• Coordinate and communicate all phases of operations including receiving and shipping loads, processing materials.
• Ensure preventative maintenance obligations are met and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with other locations daily to support sales, operations, and clients.
• Work with authorities to ensure compliance and submit required reports.
• Analyze budgets, sales, and performance data to identify cost reductions and improvements.
• Mentor and guide facility growth and performance.
