Reworld is seeking an Operations Manager for its Avon Lake, OH facility. You will oversee wastewater treatment, solid waste processing, and shredding, reporting to the Director of Operations. You will drive profitability, safety, and regulatory compliance while leading a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Extensive leadership and team-building skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to analyze information and suggest improvements.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Background in wastewater treatment, laboratory analysis, and regulatory requirements preferred.
• Knowledge of hazardous, non-hazardous, universal waste and solid waste transfer facility beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and promote an elite workplace quality, performance, appearance, and effectiveness.
• Set clear expectations; lead, coordinate, train, and direct plant employees on corporate initiatives.
• Coordinate operations phases including receiving/shipping, processing, and lab discharge compliance.
• Ensure preventative maintenance obligations are met and audit readiness of the facility.
• Coordinate with other locations to support sales, operations, and client needs.
• Work with authorities to ensure compliance and submit required reports.
• Analyze budgets, sales, and performance data to identify cost reductions and improvements.
• Mentor and guide facility growth and employee development.
• Pursue unidentified growth opportunities and develop feasible solutions.
