Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Operations Manager to join our West Palm Beach team. The role reports to the Facility Manager at the Palm 2 facility and drives safe, cost-effective operation of a Thermomechanical Treatment Facility (TTF) with multiple direct reports including Supervisors and Technicians.

Responsibilities include setting expectations, leading EH&S, optimizing boiler/turbine performance, and translating strategy into actionable plans with KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical or Chemical preferred.
• 10+ years of plant operations supervisory/managerial experience.
• Experience to include power plant operations or high‑pressure boiler operations.
• Prior experience in a People Leader role.
• ASME, CFO/QRO certification desirable or able to qualify within six months.

Responsibilities

• Set expectations, hold people accountable and role model company values to ensure a safe and inclusive workplace.
• Provide leadership and oversight to keep boiler and turbine performance at optimal levels.
• Develop and implement resource plans and KPI-driven improvements.
• Champion continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lead learning, development and performance initiatives to improve operations capabilities.
