Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Florida to oversee the safe, efficient operation of our facility during assigned shifts, monitoring boilers, turbines, and the steam plant, while directing on-site personnel and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental permits.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will enforce environmental limits, coordinate emergency responses, and manage daily, weekly, and monthly checks to ensure reliable performance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in power/resource recovery plant operations.
• Engineering degree is desirable but hands-on boiler/electrical experience and formal training are required.
• Must obtain and maintain ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license.
• Knowledge of steam generating power stations, instrument and control systems, and plant procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant within environmental limits and permits.
• Respond to emergencies or accidents as needed.

• Troubleshoot plant issues and coordinate maintenance.
• Train and manage a motivated, cross-trained workforce.
