Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Facility Manager for our West Palm Beach, FL site to lead a team in safe, compliant operations and drive continuous improvement. The role emphasizes safety culture, productivity, and strong leadership across maintenance, budgeting, and stakeholder relations.

The successful candidate will bring power generation or WTE experience, implement HS&E programs, and advance Lean initiatives, while guiding site strategy and performance toward the company’s objectives.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of progressive power plant or power generation experience.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, project planning, cost control, and program management.
• Experience using Six Sigma/Lean tools; black belt or green belt preferred.
• Proven HS&E program implementation and business initiative success.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
• Prior management experience in power generation environments (WTE, coal, biomass, nuclear, or CC power).
• Ability to lead a team and drive value-added results.
• Strong internal and external communication and team-building skills.
• Ability to develop and grow organization through structured processes.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Ensure safe and environmentally responsible operations at the site.
• Safety: Oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and practices.
• Productivity: Coordinate outages and maintenance planning with regional and corporate resources to maximize effectiveness.
• Productivity: Lead site operations to meet or exceed business objectives and Annual Operating Plan targets.
• Productivity: Maintain cost effectiveness through productivity and asset management.
• Productivity: Develop long term maintenance, staffing, operational and budgetary plans.
• Productivity: Develop and execute strategy to increase operational discipline, productivity, quality, reliability, and employee engagement/retention.
• Productivity: Champion Six Sigma/Lean tools to drive plant improvement and strategic initiatives.
