Job summary

Schreiber Foods is seeking a results-driven Operations Excellence professional for our Monett, Missouri plant. The role focuses on standardizing processes, discipline, and equipment to reduce variation and waste, driving savings and capacity while improving quality and safety.

Responsibilities include planning, coaching, troubleshooting, and applying Lean and Six Sigma tools with hands-on leadership. This is an on-site position at our Monett facility, with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years’ experience in engineering, technical or related area.
• ASQ Green Belt Certification required.
• ASQ Black Belt Certification preferred.
• Technical competency in DMAIC, Lean, Kaizen, and Change Management.
• High-volume continuous process experience with experimental design.
• Ability to collect and interpret line information and data.
• Statistical results and financial impact analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Windows, Minitab, MS Office.
• Ability to facilitate team-based training.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• DFSS knowledge or experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional project skills.
• Basic understanding of organizational logistics, inventory, and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant-level Operational Excellence projects to standardize processes and reduce waste.
• Utilize Six Sigma tools to drive cost and quality improvements.
• Collaborate with Plant Leadership to capture customer requirements and update process controls.
• Maintain cross-functional relationships with Quality, Safety, Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, USDA, FDA, EPA, EEOC, OFCCP, and other regulations.
• Own program initiatives like RCA, DMAIC, and Digital Standard Work (Dozuki).
• Analyze plant metrics, establish baselines, and monitor KPIs.
• Audit PCPs, CCPs, and SOPs to meet customer requirements and drive corrective actions.
