Job summary

Schreiber Foods is seeking an Engineering and Technical Operations Senior Manager to lead capital projects, site and facility maintenance, and productivity improvements at the Logan, UT facility. The role supports 24/7 operations, safety, quality, sanitation and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement and lean initiatives with a focus on asset performance.

Responsibilities

Ensures mechanical and electrical expertise are available to production to maintain systems 24/7.
Drive standardization of best practices and policies for Maintenance.
Provide leadership to plant maintenance for the 24/7 operation.
Improve safety, quality, equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) using Continuous Improvement techniques.
Utilizes mechanical and electrical expertise to manage production systems, utilities, buildings and grounds.
Full knowledge and utilization of the EAM system in support of maintenance & engineering functions.
Responsible for Continuous Improvement programs related to engineering, to generate improvement plans with/without capital investment.
Business driver of Value Stream Mapping and Lean Processes.
Drive initiatives in Maintenance, asset management, plant layout & flow manufacturing, bottlenecks, FDA/GMP/AIB compliance, safety and automation.
Train staff.
