Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the mining material production at the Glyndon, MN site, ensuring timely, cost-efficient operations and quality output.

You will staff appropriately, coordinate with Dispatch, Fleet Maintenance, and Quality Control, and drive productivity while prioritizing safety. The role requires 5–7 years in aggregate mining and related plant production, with strong computer skills and SAP experience being a plus.

Qualifications

• Field of Study Preferred: Mining Engineering, Management
• Required Work Experience: 5-7 years Aggregate Mining and related Raw Materials Plant Production experience
• Required Technical Skills: Computer proficiency; SAP experience would be a plus
• Additional Requirements: PPE and respirator protocols must be followed per safety policies

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity at the Plant
• Address customer needs while protecting company interests
• Initiate production and scheduling programs to increase productivity and maintain safe operations
• Manage subordinate performance, meet deadlines and maintain fiscal integrity
• Delegate and evaluate performance; hold others accountable constructively
• Participate in safety inspections (MSHA) and company checks
• Communicate with site crew, including plant operator and loaders
• Supervise production, schedule work, and perform preventive maintenance
• Maintain inventory levels to service customers' needs
