Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee production operations, safety programs, maintenance, quality, and environmental compliance at our cement facility. The role involves implementing corporate directives, managing a large team, and driving continuous improvement in production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in engineering, chemistry, natural sciences, business administration, or a closely related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a cement or lime manufacturing facility with plant management responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office365.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Conduct meetings with plant staff personnel to communicate, coordinate and discuss plant operations.
• Monitor, inspect, and review all plant activities.
• Ensure production schedule corresponds with sales forecasts.
• Assist in investigating customer and quality problems and concerns.
• Meet with government agencies and community groups concerning plant activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, policies, and standards.
• Prepare regular reports regarding plant production operations.
• Promote effective job performance through motivation, goals, and providing feedback.
