Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company in Utah seeks a Plant Technical Manager to lead all process technical operations of the cement manufacturing process. You’ll direct mining, process, automation engineering and IS/IT/OT engineering, quality control and capital projects management, guiding a team to maximize plant efficiency and safety while meeting production targets and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years cement plant technical experience.
• Proficient in English written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of quarry mining, raw material quality control, pyroprocessing, milling, and cement dispatch.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety guidelines and plant safety program.
• Direct Technical Department and interns to achieve performance goals.
• Analyze KPIs and implement cost-effective improvements.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, technical services, sales, and engineering to reach plant goals.
• Develop training, SOPs, budgets, and the Five-Year Capital Plan.
