Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician in Atlanta, GA to keep our concrete production running smoothly. You’ll perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, inspect equipment, and help prevent breakdowns to keep output steady.

You’ll use welding, electrical, and plumbing skills, tackle emergency repairs, and follow safety protocols. The role offers home daily schedules, competitive pay, overtime, and benefits within a growing national company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in plant, industrial, or manufacturing maintenance; concrete plant experience a plus.
• Skilled in electrical work, plumbing, and welding; certifications optional.
• Able to solve problems quickly and work under pressure.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with plant rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant by handling diverse maintenance tasks.
• Inspect equipment to spot issues early.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing issues.
• Fabricate or repair equipment and structures with welding.
• Prioritize fixes with plant leaders.
• Record work, parts used, and time for history.
• Learn new techniques and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with outside specialists when needed.
• Identify hazards and take corrective actions for safety.
• Step in for emergency repairs, including nights/weekends.
