Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to keep our concrete plant running smoothly. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and fabricate or repair equipment using welding skills.

A hands-on, safety‑minded problem solver who can work nights or weekends as needed will fit this role. High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical training is a bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in plant, industrial, or manufacturing maintenance preferred (concrete plant a plus).
• Welding, electrical, and plumbing skills are essential; safety knowledge is a must.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair under pressure; strong problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to work emergency repairs, nights or weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Keep plant running by handling maintenance tasks; no two days are the same.
• Inspect equipment regularly to spot issues before they cause problems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns and keep production moving.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as needed.
• Fabricate, repair, or reinforce plant equipment using welding skills.
• Maintain clear records of work, parts used, and time taken; follow safety protocols.
