Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to keep our concrete plants running smoothly. You’ll perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, inspect equipment, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to minimize downtime.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, welding, and fabricating, with a focus on safety. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required; technical training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in plant, industrial, or manufacturing settings.
• Experience with concrete plants is a plus.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding skills with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot tough repairs.
• Committed to safety and following plant rules.

Responsibilities

• Keep the plant running by handling a wide range of maintenance tasks.
• Inspect equipment regularly to spot issues before they cause breakdowns.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to avoid downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues quickly.
• Weld, fabricate, repair, or reinforce plant equipment and structures.
