Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to keep our concrete plants running smoothly. You’ll handle a variety of maintenance tasks, inspect equipment, perform preventative work, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

We value hands-on problem solvers who can weld or repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, maintain clear records, and work safely. This role offers home daily shifts with potential night and weekend calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or vocational degree is a plus.
• Hands-on maintenance experience in plant/industrial/manufacturing settings; concrete plant a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and welding issues; safety-conscious.
• Valid driver’s license; willing to work nights or weekends.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of plant maintenance tasks to keep equipment running.
• Inspect equipment and systems to spot issues early.
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.
• Weld, fabricate, or reinforce equipment and structures as needed.
• Maintain clear maintenance logs and parts usage.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in safety trainings.
