Job summary

SRM Concrete is hiring a Plant Maintenance Technician to keep our concrete plant running smoothly across shifts. You’ll perform diverse maintenance tasks, inspect equipment, and complete preventive actions to prevent downtime, while coordinating with plant leaders to prioritize fixes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in plant, industrial, or manufacturing settings.
• Experience in concrete/ready-mix plants is a plus.
• Ability to perform electrical, plumbing, and welding tasks as needed.
• Strong safety awareness, compliance with plant rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Keep the plant running by handling a wide range of maintenance tasks.
• Inspect equipment and systems regularly to spot issues early.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and repair promptly.
• Use welding to fabricate or reinforce equipment and structures.
• Prioritize repairs with plant leaders to maintain production.
• Maintain thorough maintenance records of work, parts, and time.
• Learn new techniques and stay updated on safety protocols.
• Collaborate with outside experts when specialized skills are needed.
• Identify hazards and take corrective action to keep the plant safe.
• Step in for emergencies, including nights or weekends when required.
