Job summary

Smithfield Packaged Meats Corp is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams across plant facilities, utilities, and production lines. You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs, ensure equipment reliability, and maintain compliant maintenance documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2+ years of lead experience, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2+ years of relevant maintenance leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to train, coach and mentor staff.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting for high-level processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Plan and schedule maintenance with Production, implement TPM and SOPs.
• Develop KPIs and provide status reports to maintenance management.
• Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations and document work.
• Oversee documentation of maintenance, inventory, and safety compliance.
• Provide leadership during absence of key personnel and mentor team members.
