Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead teams in preventive and predictive maintenance across our plant facilities. You will oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and documentation to maximize equipment reliability and production efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with maintenance software systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and coaching staff.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve high-level process issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct maintenance teams in predictive and preventive maintenance, and repairs across plant equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance systems (TPM, SOPs, Safety) and KPIs; report to management.
• Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations and maintain accurate records.
• Provide coverage during key personnel absences and lead by example.
