Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams across plant operations, ensuring equipment reliability and peak production. You will oversee preventive and predictive maintenance, plan maintenance activities, and drive KPI-based performance.

In this role you will collaborate with production, ensure compliance with USDA regulations, mentor staff, and manage problem solving in a fast paced facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 2+ years of experience.
• Experience leading maintenance teams or projects.
• Familiarity with USDA regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities with Production to minimize downtime.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for maintenance performance and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with USDA regulations and maintain maintenance records.
