Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Maintenance Department, overseeing plant maintenance, mobile maintenance, and electrical staff to ensure safe, reliable operations. You will collaborate with Production, Quarry Operations, and Quality to schedule work, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include developing daily/weekly maintenance plans, maintaining SAP processes, monitoring KPIs, and mentoring a team of mechanics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisor, lead or other leadership role in a fast paced manufacturing, construction, and/or mining/mineral processing environment is required.
• Strong diesel engine and powertrain background preferred, with related mechanical/electrical knowledge.
• Must be capable of working any shift, on-call, overtime, or seven days a week, rotating shifts, if required.
• Excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and plan daily maintenance work with the Maintenance Manager and Production to prioritize tasks.
• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance staff and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
• Monitor KPIs and equipment uptime to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
• Maintain SAP processes and ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with Production, Quarry Operations, and Quality for safe and reliable plant operations.
