Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager to develop work plans, manage maintenance projects, and supervise plant mechanics across operations. The role includes directing maintenance staff and participating in hands-on maintenance work to keep systems running efficiently.

The position requires a technical or trade school background, a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred), and at least four years of supervisory experience in a plant setting plus CMMS

Qualifications

• Technical or trade school graduate.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• 4 years' experience supervising in a plant environment, building, or large facility as a Maintenance Manager or Senior Planner/Scheduler.
• 4 years' experience leading or supervising a small team of technicians.
• Demonstrated experience with instrumentation + control systems for Plant Operations.
• Experience in a plant, building, or facility maintenance background.
• Supervisory experience as a Maintenance Manager.
• Energy & Utilities or Engineering Services (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Management of employees, materials, spare parts, and supplies to support efficient and effective maintenance projects for the Maintenance Department and Operations Department.
• Prepare detailed job schedules, providing fully developed work plans for projects and environmental compliance issues.
• Coordinate labor, parts, materials tools/equipment and access to the equipment.
• Job planning includes estimates for labor and materials, reporting on performance against goals/estimates, maintaining records of maintenance execution, equipment histories and equipment parts usage, logistical requirements.
• Manages Maintenance Projects outsourced to mechanical or electrical vendors and maintains CMMS database.
