Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to supervise and perform maintenance at our treatment facilities. You will plan, schedule, and direct maintenance on a range of mechanical equipment, pumps, and related systems, while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will train and coach a team, troubleshoot issues, and generate work orders and reports. A strong mechanical background and ability to work on-site are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical calculations and mechanical aptitude required.
• Proficiency with PPE and site safety procedures.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical and minor electrical tasks.
• Data entry into maintenance systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and direct maintenance on mechanical equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Coach and train team members to improve productivity, safety, and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems; perform preventive maintenance.
• Prepare work orders and reports in the Computer Maintenance Management System.
