Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Maintenance Manager to develop work plans, manage maintenance projects, and oversee plant operations. You will direct maintenance mechanics and actively participate in execution, ensuring environmental compliance and efficient use of labor and materials.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating parts and tools, tracking performance, and managing outsourced projects with CMMS database oversight. Strong leadership in a plant setting is essential.

Qualifications

• Technical or trade school graduate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 4 years’ experience supervising in a plant environment, building, or large facility.
• 4 years’ experience leading or supervising a small team of technicians.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance projects and records, spending time in plant operations to study systems and equipment.
• Direct maintenance mechanics and participate in maintenance work execution plans.
• Prepare detailed job schedules and fully developed work plans for projects and environmental issues.
• Coordinate labor, parts, materials, tools/equipment, and access to equipment.
• Manage outsourced maintenance projects and CMMS database.
