Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance activities, develop work plans, and direct maintenance mechanics across plant operations. This role requires coordinating labor, parts, and tools, and ensuring environmental compliance.

You will supervise a small team of technicians, plan projects, maintain equipment histories in CMMS, and oversee outsourced maintenance projects. A technical or trade school graduate with 4 years supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• Technical or trade school graduation required.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 4 years of supervisory experience in a plant environment as Maintenance Manager or Senior Planner/Scheduler.
• 4 years leading or supervising a small team of technicians.
• Experience with instrumentation and control systems for Plant Operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage employees, materials, spare parts, and supplies for maintenance projects.
• Prepare detailed job schedules and fully developed work plans for projects and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate labor, parts, materials tools/equipment and access to the equipment.
• Create labor/material estimates, report performance against goals, maintain maintenance records and equipment histories.
• Oversee maintenance projects outsourced to vendors and maintain CMMS database.
