Smithfield Foods, Inc. in the United States seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams across plant operations, drive reliability, and optimize production.

You will manage preventive and predictive maintenance, coordinate with Production, and implement TPM/SOPs.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities for growth within a large manufacturing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Engineering or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading maintenance teams or projects and coaching staff.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting for high-level process issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
• May be required to work long hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance, and machine repairs.
• Plan and schedule maintenance in collaboration with Production, developing preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, and SOPs.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for maintenance performance and provide status reports.
• Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations and maintain accurate records.
• Provide leadership, training and coaching to Maintenance Department staff.
