Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams across plant operations, ensuring timely repairs, preventive maintenance, and strong production support. The role focuses on driving equipment reliability and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with Production, oversee TPM/SOP implementation, and coach a high-performing team to minimize downtime and maximize throughput in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading and mentoring staff or managing a process/project.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities for high-level process issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance teams in predictive and preventive maintenance, and supervise technicians.
• Plan and schedule maintenance with Production; develop TPM, SOPs, and safety programs.
• Ensure USDA compliance and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Provide coaching and leadership to build a high-performing team.
• Monitor KPIs and report maintenance performance to management.
