Job summary

Magretech is seeking an HR Generalist to support the Plant location. This role serves as a liaison for positive employee relations and will handle HR projects, payroll, recruiting, onboarding, and training.

Reporting to the HR Director, the ideal candidate has a 4-year degree and 2+ years of HR experience, including knowledge of employment law and HR systems. Manufacturing experience is preferred. The position offers a collaborative, safety-conscious environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years' relevant HR experience.
• General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
• Knowledge of HR systems and Payroll/Benefits administration.
• Specialized HR knowledge including benefits, compensation and programs.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Implements and administers HR policies, programs and procedures.
• Manages company-wide communications.
• Oversees recruitment, orientation and training of new employees.
• Processes payroll and submits weekly reports.
• Promotes employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Supports workforce planning, onboarding and succession planning.
• Coaches managers on performance management and career transitions.
• Supports training needs, program design and outcome tracking.
• Performs HR statistical analysis and reports on data trends.
• Handles employee benefit enrollments and inquiries.
• Other HR duties and projects as assigned.
