Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to oversee core HR functions including recruiting, payroll, benefits, performance management, compliance, and training coordination.

This role partners with department leaders to support workforce development and maintain a positive employee experience. 5+ years HR experience in manufacturing and strong knowledge of employment laws are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; food industry experience is a plus.
• 5+ years of HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting a 24/7 production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding efforts.
• Administer employee benefits, payroll, PTO, and 401(k) programs.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate employee training, certifications, cross-training, and development programs.
• Manage attendance programs and staffing needs, including contract labor.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state employment laws.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Maintain HR records and collaborate with leadership on workforce planning.
