Job summary

Magretech is seeking an HR Generalist to support the Plant location. This role serves as a conduit for positive employee and management relations and oversees HR responsibilities across programs and projects. The HR Generalist reports to the HR Director at Magretech.

The candidate will implement policies, manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and training while driving engagement and retention through data-driven initiatives. Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years' relevant experience, preferred.
• General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
• Knowledge of HR systems and Payroll Database software.
• Specialized knowledge of HR processes including benefits, compensation, and programs.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Implements and administers policies, programs, and procedures to foster positive employee relations.
• Responsible for company-wide communications.
• Manages all new employee recruitment, orientation, and training.
• Processes payroll and submits weekly reports.
• Promotes employee engagement and satisfaction through initiatives.
• Supports workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession planning.
• Coaches managers on performance management processes and career transitions.
• Supports employee training and development initiatives and tracks outcomes.
• Performs HR statistical analysis and communicates data and trends.
• Responsible for employee benefit enrollments and inquiries.
• Other HR related duties and projects as assigned.
