Job summary

ITW seeks an internal HR partner to support a production plant on-site in the United States. The role covers full-cycle HR, from recruiting and payroll to safety and employee relations, with a focus on compliance and engagement. Reports to the HR Manager.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in HR or business and 1–4 years of HR experience, capable of working standard hours and occasionally outside them to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business.
• 1–4 years of experience in human resources.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic HR advisor to the plant.
• Lead recruitment activities for hourly roles.
• Ensure all documentation complies with legal requirements.
• Maintain communications with employees and handbook understanding.
• Coordinate the Safety program and promote a zero-incident culture.
• Assist HR projects with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Manage timekeeping and payroll system.
• Coordinate new employee orientation activities.
• Handle employee relations issues (mild to medium).
• Provide training on employee relations, compliance, and engagement.
• Act as Wellness Champion for corporate wellness initiatives.
• Manage annual United Way campaign.
• Present employee benefits and support benefits inquiries.
• Work with third party administrators on FMLA, STD, ADA matters.
• Administer Workday transactions.
• Attendance record keeping per laws.
