Job summary

4over in Huber Heights, OH seeks a Human Resources Generalist to lead plant-level HR services and programs, partnering with plant leadership and corporate HR to align workforce planning with business goals. The role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance with labor laws, safety programs, and HR data reporting.

Requirements include a BA/BS in HR or related field with HR certification preferred, plus 4+ years in manufacturing HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• SPHR or similar HR certification (preferred).
• At least 4 years of experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, and payroll software, preferably ADP.
• Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity in all aspects of HR management.
• Expert-level knowledge of HR functions, including labor law, HR best practices, and core human resource disciplines.
• Solid knowledge of regulatory compliance, including FMLA, WC, EEO, OSHA, and other relevant laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment efforts from requisition approvals to onboarding.
• Handle employee relations and investigations, escalating when needed.
• Provide performance management support to plant leadership.
• Interpret and apply HR policies and laws at the plant level.
• Oversee local HR activities including orientation, open enrollment, and training for hourly employees.
• Maintain HR records in HRIS and support data-driven decision making.
• Prepare for audits by ensuring postings and documentation are up to date.
• Stay current on employment laws to minimize risks and ensure compliance.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and safety program compliance.
• Supervise administrative staff and participate in team meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
