Job summary

Refresco seeks a Plant Engineer to support operations across production, maintenance, shipping and receiving and quality departments. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, process improvement, and safety compliance on the plant floor.

You will lead projects, optimize lines, and implement new procedures. Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering degree, strong PLC knowledge (Allen-Bradley), and experience in fast-paced manufacturing, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork ability.
• Knowledge of plant systems, equipment, and maintenance.
• Awareness of new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is required.
• Ability to read and write PLC logic; strong basis of understanding in Allen Bradley PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Leads continuous improvement projects in production, quality, maintenance and warehouse.
• Evaluates, recommends and leads improvements for better line performance.
• Analyzes performance trends and conducts root cause corrective action.
• Participates in problem-solving across departments.
• Engages employees with a strong presence on the production floor.
• Develops metrics to validate site profitability and feasibility.
• Optimizes production lines and department work processes.
• Establishes and documents new methods and procedures for all plant departments.
• Monitors CMOS system to ensure no gaps exist.
• Leads special projects including capital work and environmental goals.
• Leads safety improvement efforts with regulators and risk assessments.
