Job summary

Refresco Beverages US Inc. is seeking a Process Controls Engineer to drive continuous improvement and upgrade automation infrastructure across production sites.

You will lead PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, and servo programming and troubleshoot Ethernet networks and SQL Server integration. The role involves training Technicians and coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement robust control strategies, optimize line efficiency, and ensure food safety and quality through CIP and batch control

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Rockwell Automation PLC, VFD, HMI, and Servo System programming and troubleshooting expertise.
• RSLogix 5, 500, 5000 and FactoryTalk Studio proficiency.
• Knowledge of DeviceNet and Ethernet I/P; experience with remote comms and I/O systems.
• SQL Server experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes expert knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and networks to troubleshoot and implement permanent solutions.
• Conducts predictive maintenance analysis and issues PM work orders to prevent breakdowns.
• Leads continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing process data and implementing engineering solutions.
• Develops automation infrastructure upgrades and disaster recovery strategies.
• Designs and programs PLC, SCADA, and DCS for process automation.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new automation technologies.
