Job summary

Refresco is seeking a Plant Engineer to provide comprehensive support to the plant operations team in Charlotte. The role focuses on troubleshooting and implementing continuous improvements across Production, Maintenance, Shipping & Receiving, and Quality departments.

You will lead improvement projects, analyze performance trends, and develop methods and procedures to optimize line efficiency and reduce energy consumption. Strong PLC knowledge and collaboration across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads continuous improvement projects in production, quality, maintenance and warehouse.
• Evaluates, recommends and leads improvements for better line performance.
• Analyzes performance trends and conducts root cause/action to improve results.
• Participates in cross-department problem-solving and process optimization.
• Develops metrics to validate site profitability and feasibility.
• Oversees safety improvements and regulatory compliance efforts.
