Job summary

Refresco Beverages US Inc. seeks a Controls Engineer to lead continuous improvement and modernization of control systems. You will program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA, optimize Ethernet networks, and develop training plans for technicians to boost reliability across US facilities.

The role emphasizes safety and regulatory compliance while driving plant performance through automation upgrades and data-driven maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Rockwell Automation or equivalent PLC, VFD, HMI, and Servo programming/troubleshooting expert.
• PLC programming using RSLogix 5, 500, 5000, and FactoryTalk Studio.
• DeviceNet and Ethernet I/P knowledge essential.
• Remote communication and I/O systems experience.
• Experience with Virtual Network and Thin Clients.
• SQL Server experience preferred.
• Licensed Industrial Electrician preferred.
• Experience in food processing, bottling and packaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot controls automation systems; identify root cause and implement permanent solutions.
• Perform PdM analysis and issue PM work orders to prevent emergencies.
• Analyze performance trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead automation upgrades and disaster recovery planning.
• Develop training plans to elevate Controls Technicians and Electricians.
• Coordinate installation of new equipment to improve efficiency.
• Develop P&IDs, loops, ladder diagrams, and wiring diagrams; control schedule.
