Job summary

The Controls Engineer will implement technical projects/new equipment, maintain the industrial network, and perform PLC work across the plant. You will collect shop floor data, resolve issues with the plant, and support SQF compliance and food safety programs.

Candidate should have 3-5 years in manufacturing or industrial programming, and experience leading teams. Degree in engineering or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Certification in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or industrial programming.
• 3-5 years' experience in management and employee development.
• Experience working with cross functional teams, in a dynamic environment.
• Thorough understanding of plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement technical projects/new equipment and maintain the industrial network.
• Maintain and program PLCs and collect shop floor data.
• Resolve technical issues with the plant and assist with capital projects.
• Monitor deviations from HACCP & SQF programs to supervisor.
• Coordinate operations and support data mining efforts.
• Assist in equipment selection and project implementations.
• Support Maintenance Manager during project execution.
• Provide SQF development, training, implementation and compliance.
