Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a Control Room Operator in Dickerson, MD to lead field operations and monitor plant systems. The role requires responding to alarms, directing other operators, and ensuring safe, efficient startup and shutdown procedures.

The position emphasizes leadership, readiness to work long shifts, and the ability to read blueprints and diagrams while maintaining logs and coordinating with the shift supervisor. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASME QRO provisional licensing within first year.
• Ability to lead and stay alert during long shifts.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant systems continuously and respond to alarms.
• Direct operators and coordinate with the shift supervisor.
• Execute safe startup/shutdown procedures as required.
• Read blueprints, P&ID’s and schematics.
• Be in the field during outages when required.
• Maintain logs and perform calculations and reporting.
