Reworld Waste is seeking a Control Room Operator to lead and direct a team under the shift Supervisor, overseeing the operation of the facility with a focus on safety and environmental efficiency. The role requires monitoring all plant systems, responding to alarms, and executing start-up/shut-down procedures to meet generating requirements.

Field presence during outages is required, with a commitment to reliable operations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam within the first year.
• Strong leadership and ability to stay alert during long shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate how actions support Reworld Values and Behaviors (Safe and Inclusive Workplace, Delivering Results through Trust, Building Breakthrough Capabilities).
• Understands and trains Operators on operating principles of the power facility’s systems, components and steam cycles.
• Maintains required logs and calculations; observes logs for indications of faulty operation; notifies supervisor of abnormal system conditions.
• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
• Monitor boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations; read blueprints, P&IDs, and schematic specifications.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks during emergencies with clear directions.
• Respond to operational alarms with immediate corrective action.
• Position may require field presence during outages.
• Demonstrate understanding of operational best practices and sound decision making to support safety and operations.
