Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is hiring an Assistant Control Room Operator to support the control room and field team in maintaining safe, reliable plant operations. You will read equipment, log data, and coordinate with the CRO and Shift Supervisor to address issues and ensure smooth starts and shutdowns.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, ability to troubleshoot, and a commitment to safety. A rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends, is expected in this position.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Operations Qualification Standard (OQS) and lower-level qualifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor field conditions and communicate with Control Room Operator.
• Perform pre-start and post-shutdown field walkdowns to verify equipment.
• Record readings and maintain operating logs as required.
• Respond promptly to malfunctions and abnormal conditions.
• Assist with training and coverage across watch stations as needed.
