Job summary

Mattenga's Pizzeria Schertz is seeking a hands-on Manager (Captain) to lead daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high standards of food quality and service in a fast-paced environment.

You will guide staff, manage scheduling and labor costs, uphold safety protocols, and drive performance through coaching and clear communication. A proven background in hospitality leadership and a commitment to Texas hospitality are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and operational procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Manage labor costs, food costs, and inventory levels.
